Orange Pork Chops

INGREDIENTS

  • 2 cups orange juice

  • 1/3 cup lime juice

  • 1/3 cup packed brown sugar

  • 6 pork chops, medium thickness

  • 2 T pork rub (see Bourne Again Goods Rubs)

  • Salt and pepper to taste

INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Season both sides of pork chops with salt, pepper, and pork rub. Set aside and make sauce.

  2. Combine orange juice, lemon juice, and brown sugar in small, heavy-duty sauce pan.

  3. Cook mixture on very low heat (simmer) about 20-30 minutes until reduced and thin syrup-like consistency, stirring often. Cool

  4. Sear seasoned pork chops on both sides on grill.

  5. Baste chops with sauce, turning side-to-side until a glaze forms and chops are cooked through. Some blackened edges will appear when the chops develop a good glaze.
