About the Recipe
Simple pasta and ground beef dish ready in around 30 minutes.
Ingredients
1 lb ground beef
1 medium onion, diced
Pasta - elbow or shell macaroni 10 oz
1 tsp Tone's Chicken Base
1 can diced tomatoes
1 can tomato sauce
Garlic salt
Pepper
Preparation
In a medium skillet, brown the ground beef and onions
Cook the pasta according to package directions (al dente), drain but reserve 1/2 - 1 cup of cooking water to make broth from chicken base
Combine ground beef, cooked pasta, tomatoes, tomato sauce and broth.
Season with garlic salt and pepper to taste.
Continue to simmer for 5-10 minutes or until hot enough to enjoy
