About the Recipe

Ingredients

  • 12-count package Hawaiian sweet rolls or other slider buns of choice

  • 3/4 lb. cooked deli ham, thinly sliced

  • 3/4 lb. cheese, thinly sliced (Swiss, provolone, cheddar, etc)

  • 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, melted

  • 1 T Dijon mustard

  • 1 T poppy seeds

  • 2 tsp dried minced onion

  • 2 tsp Worcestershire sauce

  • 1/4 tsp salt

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

Preparation

  1. Preheat oven to 350F.

  2. Line a 9×9-inch or 9×13-inch pan with aluminum foil, spray with cooking spray; set aside.

  3. Slice the rolls in half so you have a layer of tops and a layer of bottoms.

  4. Place the bottom layer of rolls in prepared pan.

  5. Evenly layer about half of the ham over the rolls.

  6. Evenly layer the cheese.

  7. Evenly layer the remaining ham.

  8. Add the top layer of rolls; set aside.

  9. Melt butter.

  10. Add dijon mustard, poppy seeds, onion, Worcestershire sauce, salt, pepper, and whisk to combine.

  11. Spread the butter mixture over the rolls. Some of the mixture will pool at the bottom - that’s okay, it’s what you want. :-)

  12. Cover with aluminum foil and allow rolls to stand at room temp for about 5 to 10 minutes.

  13. Bake covered for about 20 minutes or until cheese has melted.

  14. Remove cover and bake for additional 3 to 5 minutes, or until it has reached your desired level of yum.

  15. Cut into individual sliders and serve.
