I'm not sure there are words that will suffice to describe these perfect little bundles of apple-happiness. The recipe was shared with me, upon request, after a friend brought them to share at one of our homeschool support group meetings. Listen, we were licking the plates they were served on, and you will too. The secret ingredient is Mt. Dew.
I have looked the recipe up to see if I could find an original creator, but this recipe seems to have been around for a very long time. Before Mt. Dew was available, the recipe called for any lemon-lime soda. Don't say I didn't warn you!
