Houston, we have a Christmas Tree!!

Just wanted to report, we have a Christmas Tree.  It’s our first real tree in many years.  Rachel, John and I went to Eckert’s Saturday, December 9th, rode the shuttle to the cut-your-own field, walked around until we found just the right tree, and Rachel started the cutting - John finished it.  I’m happy to report, the only casualty of the trip was my glove :-( Somewhere out in the field my glove remains separated, probably forever, from its mate.  Bummer.  But did I say, we got our tree! LOL

That was Saturday.  It took us until last night, Tuesday, to get lights and ornaments on it.  Rachel and I are pondering whether or not we like it better with or without the ornaments.  We kind of liked it better simply with lights.
