Orange Pork Chops
INGREDIENTS
- 2 cups orange juice
- 1/3 cup lime juice
- 1/3 cup packed brown sugar
- 6 pork chops, medium thickness
- 2 T pork rub (see Bourne Again Goods Rubs)
- Salt and pepper to taste
INSTRUCTIONS
- Season both sides of pork chops with salt, pepper, and pork rub. Set aside and make sauce.
- Combine orange juice, lemon juice, and brown sugar in small, heavy-duty sauce pan.
- Cook mixture on very low heat (simmer) about 20-30 minutes until reduced and thin syrup-like consistency, stirring often. Cool
- Sear seasoned pork chops on both sides on grill.
- Baste chops with sauce, turning side-to-side until a glaze forms and chops are cooked through. Some blackened edges will appear when the chops develop a good glaze.
