Recognizing God's thumbprint on our lives
I recently heard someone explain how to more easily recognize the gifts we've been given that scripture talks about. They said it was like a thumbprint; something given to each person to use in their own unique circumstances to serve and love others. I can get on board with that. John and I immediately pinpointed our own and each others' thumbprints. It was a cool moment.
Of course, if you know me at all, you know the reason I'm writing about that here on my cooking blog is because my thumbprint involves cooking for people. It's my love language, even though these days I've been rather silent in comparison to years gone by.
Anyway, I just wanted to drop this in here to mark the time when this became more clear to me so that I'll be able to look back over time and see if it made any impact.
What is your thumbprint?
