Things to Come

It’s Thursday morning. I sit at the glass high top table of my brother-in-law in his home in Virginia. We are midway in our week-long visit with him and his wife, both of whom we couldn’t possibly love more.

It’s been raining since the day we arrived. If it were a different time and set of circumstances, we might be pouty about that fact. However, when you really just want to spend time with people you love and enjoy, you simply don’t care about the weather LOL.

We have enjoyed some personal tours of the DC area - from the car, but we’ve seen some places that we haven’t before, thanks to the experience and knowledge of folks who live and work in the area. 

Today, we’ll leave to go to “camp”. About an hour’s drive west from here, there is a private camp ground beckoning us all to come and rest awhile. And that is our plan, come more rain or sunshine, we’ll relax and enjoy more time together - and more of the Lawson clan will join us for sitting around the fire, hot dog roasts, s’mores, and stories, oh-the-stories they tell.
