Blueberry Lemon Cheesecake Sourdough Bread
Some recipes arrive quietly and then refuse to leave.
This one came into our kitchen thanks to Sarah, who stumbled across it and decided to give it a try. From the moment it came out of the oven, we knew she’d found something special. One slice led to another, and before long we were all standing around the counter agreeing—this one was a keeper.
It’s soft, rich, and brioche-like, with bright lemon flavor, juicy blueberries, and little pockets of creamy sweetness throughout. There’s almost no sourdough tang at all, which makes it feel more like a treat than a traditional loaf. Sweet enough to feel indulgent, comforting enough to make you reach for just one more slice.
More than that, this bread marked something else—it was the first real step in Sarah’s own sourdough addiction. Once she saw what was possible, there was no turning back.
The original inspiration for this recipe comes from MuscleMamaSourdough, and we’re so grateful for the nudge it gave Sarah—and all of us—to keep experimenting, learning, and baking together.
If you’re looking for a sourdough loaf that leans more toward dessert than breakfast, this one might just win you over too.
