Grrrrrrh!!
Be honest. Does anyone's kids actually ever do any school work!!!!! How much of the time would you say. 1 day of 5 in a week. 5 out of 5?
I am starting to come to the realization that it's not even their fault. Life simply does not slow down enough. Every single day there are things that come up that take higher priority than sitting down and doing reading, writing and arithmetic. Keeping people before things really doesn't allow me any time to "teach" these kids. I read the blogs of some of my absolute favorite homeschoolers - pretty much my hero(s) and see all that they fit into their days and wonder how the *%)) does she teach her kids and do all that and BLOG these posts. So - after 10 years of "homeschooling" I really wanna know - who actually "teaches" their kids any academics!!!!!
