SEE WHAT'S NEW!

Well, it looks like this is about week four on my journey to better health and weight.  The first two week I lost 6 pounds.  The third week I lost nothing.  This week I lost 1 more pound.  Things are definitely different this time.  I did not throw in the towel at the first point that I ordinarily would have.  The weight is not coming off as quickly as I thought it would but I probably had unrealistic expectations anyway.  Regardless, I feel better.  I am more focused, have more energy and simply feel better.  I know I'm taking better care of myself and that knowledge puts a little extra spring in my steps - except when my heals are burning and shin splints feel like they are ripping my muscles completely away from the bone.
