Welcome 2017
I'm not part of the crew that is bidding 2016 farewell with disdain. 2016 was a great year in so many ways. I am so thankful for every opportunity that God brought into my life. I pray to be open to all that He will bring my way in this new year.
The daily walks I grew so fond of in 2016 are a reflection of this statement and truth. The early morning waking that I have struggled with more than a little during the extended Christmas break are a necessity to my good attitude and frame of mind each day. Our family schedule will return to a little more normalcy on Wednesday as sweet daughter returns to school and hubby to work - and me to work and routine. I thrive on routine. I'm not so good at just flying-by-the-seat-of-my-pants. I need consistency and somewhat predictable routines. So, I will do some planning as time permits, and then I will hand it over to the One who guides my steps. And I will do so with deep gratitude and relief.
