It’s all about works of the heart. We are never too old, or too young, to learn new ways to make a home or make a place. And don’t we all need both? Sometimes they are the same - the home and the place, sometimes they are not. 

Especially as the holidays approach, I can’t help but ponder how to create both - a home and a place - for the people who pass through the threshold of our door. 

What is it that makes a house a home? What makes a space a place? 

I think I’ll write about that as I continue to explore ideas to do both.
