Wack-a-doodle
The phrase I’ve coined to describe what condition my house is in after I’ve enjoyed a visit from my kids and grandkids. :-) Love it!
It’s cold again
John is decompressing upstairs
Rachel is too
Mandie is holding Sawyer, nursing, and watching The Bachelor LOL
Dinner is calling - crispy baked chicken nuggets, mashed potatoes w/gravy, and green beans. Think I’ll throw in some cheddar biscuits (if I have the cheddar) :-)
It was a much better day. I forgot to take photos yesterday for the first time since Dakota left :-( I remembered to take some today. Yesterday was bad, and I realized I needed to approach it a bit differently than I had been thinking I would. So I nixed my early morning reading, my walk in the park, and taking Rachel to school. I stayed in my pajamas and loved on my girl and her boy.
Sarah came to visit with Delilah and Lucas. Spectrum aka Charter came to fix the problem with the cable box in Mandie’s room and ended up replacing all kinds of equipment to update old stuff. Mandie headed to the lactation consultant, Debbie - who I like very much - and returned home with a much more chipper attitude. Baby boy weighs a nice 8 lbs. 6 oz!!! Way to go mama!!
I’ve eaten like crap today. And honestly, I don’t think I even care. Boom.
I rearranged Mandie’s room in hopes of making a little more space (less clutter=less stress in my opinion) and it looks awesome. Now I just need help packing the excess to the basement storage space.
Just an update, because I have an assignment - write/blog every single day. This is truly A Work Life & Love in Progress!!
