What a glorious day!
Oh, how good and refreshing it is to see the sunshine again :-)
Getting ready to go for a walk. We’re trying some new habits to see how we can work around the demands of a new baby. Mandie needs to work out, and this grandma needs her walk in the park. So this morning, I’ll drop Mandie at the Y for her workout and head to the park, which happens to be just down the street from that Y, for a stroll with baby in the stroller. Wish us luck?! I dont’ know how well he’ll do, but we’re definitely ready to give it our best shot.
I listened to Right Now Media this morning - I do that off and on - and the message I found this morning reinforces a thought that’s been crossing my path frequently and growing in my mind. Living our purpose is most often going to be in very small ways, not via big platforms and mass followers. That’s actually a relief to me. It tells me that my small life can have a big impact in the Kingdom. And again, the Two Greatest Commandments and The Great Commission are highlighted as the way to live an obedient, Christ-centered life.

Afternoon update: the walk was successful. After a small glitch - after I got baby out and ready to walk, I realized the wheels of the stroller needed air, like NEEDED air, not like could use some air. So I packed the baby and the stroller back into the car and drove to the nearby Motomart, aired up the tires, returned to the park and started all over again. I was only able to get one trip around the trail but I know I’ll have time for two when I don’t have the glitch ;-)
Now, I’m sitting here in the quiet house, listening only to the dryer running, perturbed that I have to keep the sliding glass door closed because of renegade cats and torn screens :-( Screen repair goes at the top of the list of things that must be done to spare my sanity. A spring without open doors and window and fresh air is more than I can even bear the thought of... just sayin’.
Mastermind Group resulted in assignments last Tuesday. Go ahead and ask me if I have completed even a small portion ... never mind.
Just showing up at the page - that’s what I’m doing, and rambling on about really unimportant stuff. And let me just say, I am well aware of some other really more important stuff. Just can’t share it here.
Carry on! Hope the sun continues to shine on us as we welcome March, 2018!
