Hello! Today is:

SEE WHAT'S NEW!

The New Thing Around the Corner (old blog)

I kissed my husband good-bye and wished him luck as he left this morning for the first of two interviews today then I said a prayer as he drove down the street. Perhaps I should be more concerned about our life after the army but I'm just not. I'm unsure if that is complete trust in God, which would be a good thing, or if I'm just cheerfully ignorant of the real world and the difficulties that might come with civilain life. Either way I'm just absolutely confident that he will get a good job and I pray that it will be one he chooses and not something he feels he'll have to accept to keep a roof over our head and food on the table. Being a stay at home, homeschooling mom has its challenges but not like the burden of making sure your family is fed, sheltered, clothed and cared for financially. I'm thankful to have a husband who takes it seriously and is faithful to the task God has given him. I pray that I might grow in faithfulness to my own tasks.
