Advent planning

I'm so glad she's my friend!!! So, Robin had a great idea that she shared with me tonight and invited me to join forces with her. We are actually going to PLAN for advent! I realize this isn't a new idea for many but it is for me. I have used Elizabeth Foss's Advent Curriculum a couple of times. Although I haven't fully accomplished everything in it either year we attempted to, I do own most of the books now. We are going to create a custom plan for our families that include the local attractions and activities. I will probably incorportate many of the activities from the Real Learning curriculum and update the book list by browsing through the site. I have already pulled the books off the shelf tonight so I can inventory and see what additions I would like to make this year.
