Keeping My Life

Instead of blogging these days - I am "keeping my life".  This was the topic of a talk that Sarah Mae gave at the Allume Conference.  It was a good message and apparently one I needed to hear.  I guess I thought at this point in my life there would be more free time to write and play with my blog.  I was wrong.  There is less space in my schedule now than there may ever have been.  I can't really explain why.  It may be that back then I didn't realize that just because children grow older (and even move out and really are living independently) they still need and want your time and attention.  That the blessings living under our roof, even though very independent, still fill up my time and my heart.  This is most definitely NOT a complaint.  I would rather be living my life than blogging about it.  So, if my posts are few and far between just know that I am very busy - busy keeping my life :-)
