Move over Topsy-Turvy!!

Perhaps you have seen the advertisements for this neat little contraption - it's a bag for growing tomatoes upside-down in a bag. The idea is to take up less space and be easier to harvest. Well, my dear husband had been contemplating trying this in his own way with the decorative hanging baskets. I cautioned him that it probably wasn't enough room for the root system but we'd try it anyway. Then, yesterday at our family picnic Danielle was telling me about her brother who grows his in 5-gallon buckets using the same concept. Perfect! We had the buckets and it was exactly what John was looking for. It's experimental, no doubt, but it will be very interesting to see how it works.
